I interested in the socio-political conditions within which human existence is possible. Oppressive power structures, normative body politics and restrictive gender roles are analyzed with artistic means - despite everything in search of an ideal society. In my works, the “human animal” often forms a counter-figure to the “brutal human being”. I use different metaphorical elements in storytelling, from the minimal and dysfunctional states of the body to animal figures. The human body and everything about human being take place in my stories by disguising different bodies. In this sense, many roles of body and their meaning shifts in my works such as transformation of a being from animals to different bodies symbolically or religious symbols out of their meaning. It is these transitions between states and the hybrid forms that challenge our viewing habits, such as fixed categories and assigned meanings. The static is set in motion, the inorganic appears miraculously organic, the dead come to life and human and animal faces merge into a hitherto unknown hybrid. Destroying and creating, aggressiveness and tenderness, theatrical and introverted, hate and love are always close together.
